Community Sponsorship Fund

As long-term investors in our projects and the communities where we operate, we are committed to extending the benefits of South Brooks to the local community. All our wind and solar sites in the UK have a dedicated community fund to spend on projects and causes. ​

A South Brooks community fund would be put in place at the start of operation and last throughout the lifetime of the project. ​We are proposing to provide £400 per megawatt per year of operation. Based on our grid connection agreement, this could be up to £200,000 each year​

Feedback from Phase One Consultation highlighted several local initiatives where we could make a positive contribution.​

We have partnered with Kent Community Foundation to deliver a Community Sponsorship Fund available to support local projects during the pre-application stage. Grants are available up to £6,000 and can be applied for here: Eligibility Success
